Making a Difference

Even though Diane has been a resident of, and working in the US, dutifully paying all US taxes since 1993, as a Palau citizen she is unable to qualify for US social-security disability. This is mostly due to being a Palau citizen instead of a US citizen.

With the on-going medical expanses for the dialysis treatments coupled with Diane"s inability to continue to work full time, we are more often than not forced to make some tough choices. Do we pay our rent, or pay for more treatment? Do we pay the electric bill, or pay for the prescription drugs Diane needs to survive?

We are doing the best we can, but we could use a little help.
